Day 4 of Publish Your Kindle Book This Week.  

When you read the first post of this series on publishing a Kindle book this week, I’ll bet your brain started cramping and your writer’s block kicked in, huh? 

When you learned that you were going to be able to put those pencils away and use content you already had on your blog, I heard your sigh of relief all the way in Illinois.

So let’s recap what you should have accomplished so far:

• You have perused you blog posts and chosen a topic for your book and a title. Plus you selected the blog posts you wanted to use as short chapters in your book. 
• You’ve created your ebook cover or outsourced it to be done for you.
• In Microsoft Word, you’ve written your title page, copyright page and dedication page (optional)
• You’ve added your chapters in the order they go, inserting a page break at the end of each one.
• You’ve carefully edited as you went so that your book reads like a book and not a half-a$$ed blog post with bad grammar and lousy spelling. You’ve also taken out the call to actions asking your blog readers to leave a comment, double-checked that your links were working, and written a few lines here and there where needed for a smooth transition into you next chapter.
• You’ve written your conclusion and the about the author page.

Way to go! And that was in just 3 days. Next time you will be able to do that in 1 or 2 days if you really want to.
